John Button

John is a Principal with OnePrime Capital, joining the team in November 2022. As a key member of the investment team, John is involved in all investment activities of the firm including sourcing, diligence, execution, and portfolio management.  

Previously, John was with Qatalyst Partners in San Francisco where he executed on more than $30B in M&A transactions for several leading technology companies including Citrix Systems, Pluralsight and Clarabridge. Prior to this he served in corporate strategy and development roles with Rogers Communications Inc., Canada’s leading telecommunications firm.

John has a B.Com. in Finance & Economics from the University of Toronto, an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and is a CFA Charterholder.
